Whose afraid of 18 wheelers?

Every person in their right mind.

These uncontrollable monsters ofttime turn our highways into a racetrack and are a menace to our safety and well being.

There seems to be nothing we can do about it.  Legislation to modify their behavior has been attempted to no avail . . . their lobby is too strong and powerful.  Unless the public rises up and demands a change the 18 wheelers will continue to drive fast and furiously.

They are even trying to pass laws allowing the 18 wheelers to increase the number of trailers they pull behind them.  Wouldn’t you like to see that?  Like a freight train barreling down our highways.

Statistics show these elephants of commerce are involved in an inordinate number of serious accidents.  Thousands of people are killed or maimed for life because we let the trucking companies get away with this human carnage.

When are we going to have enough?  As a concerned citizen, rise up and be heard.  Let your legislators know their jobs are at risk if they don't correct this injustice.

All we are asking for is reasonable safety.  Let’s slow 18 wheelers down and put them in the slow lane of traffic.
