Nursing homes are havens for our older and infirm loved ones. They should be a safe haven and generally are. On occasions you have owners and operators of these nursing homes neglect their duty to provide a safe place for our loved ones. They fall to hire adequate personnel to care for the occupants and also fail to properly train those who tend to the ones in need. Quite frequently nursing home personnel are not properly supervised and they fail to perform their duties as thy should. Some of the personnel have demonstrated that on occasion they are out-right cruel to the afflicted ones who need their expert care and attention When this neglect and lack of care occurs and causes serious injury the negligent party must pay. We cannot afford this substandard care to the helpless residents of the nursing homes. We must by all means, protect them from all hazards. You have a duty and obligation to see that your loved one is cared for and also fairly compensated. Don’t be remiss in your duty. |
